I have committed myself to obtain the knowledge and experience to best serve my clients. This unstoppable thirst for learning new things is fun for me and helps me to be more well-rounded. From learning new insights in real estate to some off-the-wall topic, I can't be stopped!
Several times a year I have the opportunity to learn more about my trade. The Missouri Realtors conduct business meetings several times a year, and also offer ancillary educational opportunities.
Most recently I attended "Commercial Day”, this leads up to the Missouri Realtors Business Seminar, and the topics covered along with the information presented was amazing. All aspects of items that effect our industry, some of which may not have been thought to play a role, have an outstanding impact. This a great time not only to learn more about factors affecting our industry but to also make new contacts and build new relationships with other Brokers, Developers, Bankers, etc. These relationships are crucial to success. Successful relationships are not built on Facebook, Twitter, Instasomething, or some other new social site. Real meaningful professional relationships are built in-person where one can learn so much more about a person. I understand these social sites have their place in real estate since I too use several of them. At the end of the day all I have, just as anyone else, is the knowledge I have passionately gained and its waiting to be shared with you. -MLW
